Bernt Knitwear
Usually, when I design knitwear, I have a clear vision in my mind of how I want the garment to look before I start knitting. With the Bolcher Sweater, I knew I wanted to create something playful using increases and decreases in brioche stitch, but even after knitting at least ten swatches, the vision was still unclear. So, I decided to just start knitting and 'trust the process.' As a result, this may have been one of the most fun design processes I’ve ever had—leading to a sweater that is playful, simple, and enjoyable to knit, with a pattern that is truly addictive!
