Frøya Sweater is an oversized aran sweater knitted from top to bottom. It has been developed over a long period to perfect it, with the goal of creating the perfect dream sweater in aran/fisherman style.
The back piece is knitted first, back and forth, and shaped with increases to create a drop-shoulder effect. Then, stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are joined together to form the front piece. The front piece is knitted back and forth and then joined with the back piece to form the body. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are knitted in the round. The neckline is knitted in ribbing and folded over.
The Frøya Sweater should have a positive ease of 40-50 cm compared to your bust measurement.
The sweater in the picture is size 1 in the color Ubleket hvit.

Ingrid Dyb
Ingrid Dyb is a Norwegian knitwear designer who focuses on quality and slow fashion. Her designs are based on the idea that they should be suitable for both genders, with fit and "the perfect fit" being key elements. The focus is on form, yarn quality, and timelessness.
The garments you knit should be able to last forever, without the worry of fitting into current fashion trends. With a keen eye for yarn quality, the aim is to create a wardrobe of high-quality knitted pieces that help eliminate the disposable culture of mass-produced garments made from poor-quality blended fabrics (including plastic).
